Terms and Conditions
By registering your child for any of our educational programs—including Full-Time Enrollment, Part-Time Enrollment, and or Camps—you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility & Enrollment
- Participants must meet the age and/or grade level requirements specified in each course or camp description.
- Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and completion of the registration form.
2. Registration Fee
- Part-time enrollment requires a non-refundable annual registration fee of $45 per student, due at the time of registration. Program.
3. Class and Camp Hours
In-Person
- Classes are held at designated locations on a fixed schedule.
- Expectations:
- Students must arrive on time and participate actively.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up.
Virtual
- Conducted online using platforms such as Google Meet or another approved video conferencing tool.
- Student Responsibilities:
- Log in on time and attend from a quiet, distraction-free environment.
- Have all required materials, equipment, and software ready before class begins.
- Cameras must remain on unless prior arrangements are made.
- Active participation is expected throughout the session.
Summer Camp
- Sessions are offered during selected weeks:
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Camp runs Monday through Friday.
4. Holiday Schedule
No classes will be held on the following U.S. holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
5. Competition Class Participation
- Participation in external competitions are optional and requires written parental consent.
- Any related expenses (e.g., travel, entry fees, team t-shirts, materials) are not included in tuition and are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to:
- Show respect to instructors, peers, and property.
- Participate actively and attentively.
- Use appropriate language and behavior at all times.
7. Health, Safety & Virtual Etiquette
In-Person Classes and Camps
- Parents/guardians must disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs prior to the first session.
Virtual Classes
- Students must attend from a quiet environment with a stable internet connection.
- Cameras must remain on unless prior arrangements have been made.
8. Technology Use
- Students will use technology including (but not limited to) tablets, laptops, coding kits, and video conferencing tools.
- They are responsible for the proper use and care of all equipment and platforms.
9. Refund & Cancellation Policy Camps and Course(s)
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date: Full refund.
- Cancellations made within 5 days of the start date: full refund, minus a $5 processing fee.
- Cancellations made within 3 days of the start date: No refund.
- No-shows without notice are not eligible for refunds.
Cancellations
- Big Dream Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, full refunds or credits will be offered.
10. Cancellation or Subscription Termination
- To cancel a monthly subscription or withdraw from a class, a minimum of two weeks’ written notice is required.
- Failure to provide notice may result in charges for the next billing cycle.
11. Liability Waiver
- While all reasonable precautions are taken, Big Dream Academy and its staff are not liable for injuries, accidents, or technical issues arising during participation, whether in-person or virtual.
12. Photo & Video Consent
By enrolling, you grant Big Dream Academy permission to photograph or record your child (or yourself) during classes or school-related activities for educational and promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media, brochures).
To opt out, a parent or legal guardian must indicate this during enrollment or submit a written notice prior to the start of the program.
13. Communication & Emergency Contact
- Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact information.
- In case of a medical or technical emergency, staff will attempt to reach the emergency contact first.
- For in-person programs, emergency care (including transport by emergency services) may be sought if necessary.
14. Modifications to Terms
- Big Dream Academy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Participants will be notified of significant changes via email or our website.
15. Agreement
By submitting the registration form and/or participating in any Big Dream Academy program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Condition
