Students will learn:
- Advanced STEM Concepts: Build a deep understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math through challenging, real-world scenarios.
- Robotics & Coding: Program and design LEGO robots to complete specific missions, using both block-based and text-based programming.
- Creative Problem Solving: Work through real-world problems and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Develop essential skills in communication, collaboration, and leadership by working as a team on group projects.
- Presentation & Communication: Prepare and present their team’s solutions, gaining valuable experience in public speaking and presentation skills.
This class prepares students for FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge competitions, where they will compete regionally, nationally, or even internationally. Students will develop skills in engineering, coding, and project management—skills that set them up for success in future STEM fields.
