STEAMS Education Hub Program Policies

Academic Program Structure

STEAMS Education Hub courses follow a comprehensive 36-week curriculum designed to provide students with a structured, engaging, and progressive learning experience. Each course is carefully planned to build knowledge, strengthen skills, and support student growth throughout the academic year.

The academic year is divided into three 12-week trimesters (excluding school breaks and holidays):

  • Trimester 1: August 7, 2026 – October 30, 2026

  • Trimester 2: October 31, 2026 – February 12, 2027

  • Trimester 3: February 13, 2027 – May 17, 2027

Registration & Fees

A $45 annual registration fee is required for all students.

  • Returning students will be charged the registration fee each August.

  • New students must pay the registration fee at the time of enrollment.

Math Class Study Materials Fee

Math students are required to pay a $60 per trimester study materials fee. This fee is separate from tuition and covers:

  • Printed handouts and worksheets

  • Classroom resources

  • Assessments

  • Instructional materials used throughout the trimester

Tuition & Payment Policy

Tuition is billed per trimester.

At the time of registration, families are required to pay:

  • Annual registration fee ($45)

  • Applicable study materials fee

  • $100 tuition deposit to reserve a student’s place in the class

The remaining tuition balance is due on the first day of each trimester. The $100 deposit will be applied as a credit toward the total trimester tuition.

Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy

  • The annual registration fee is non-refundable.

  • If a student withdraws before the first day of the trimester, any tuition paid in advance, tuition deposit, and study materials fees will be refunded.

  • Students may request withdrawal within the first two weeks of the trimester.

  • For approved withdrawals during this period, tuition will be prorated based on the weeks attended. The remaining balance will be refunded.

  • No refunds or credits will be issued for:

    • Study materials fees

    • Missed classes

    • Withdrawals requested after the first two weeks of the trimester

Big Dream Academy reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances. If a class is canceled by the school, families may choose either:

  • A full refund of tuition and fees paid for that class, or

  • A credit toward another available course

Missed Class Policy

We understand that students may occasionally miss class. To help students stay on track, the following support options are available:

  • Students may schedule up to 15 minutes with the instructor before or after a regularly scheduled class to review key concepts, ask questions, and receive guidance on missed material.

  • Class notes, lecture materials, assignments, and other instructional resources will be available for review.

These resources are designed to help students stay connected with course content and continue making progress. Make-up support does not replace the full class session.
